Fluence Bioengineering – 2017

The Fluence RAZR features plug and play modularity and a low profile design that is suitable for vertical farming. Fixtures are available in 2, 3, and 4 bar configurations and can be paired with various external power supplies to accommodate a range of farming applications.

Role:

Within 6 months of hire, I managed commercialization for the entire product portfolio, which included design and certification of the lighting fixtures, accessory cabling, and power supply enclosure.

Design Considerations:

• Design and source PCB layouts (DipTrace) for production on in-house SMT machines
• Develop external power supply enclosure with modular control circuitry
• Provide ingress protection for wet location rating and ETL certification
